I have bought the knock off Cam Link alternatives hoping to get my 1080p resolution and 60fps without breaking the bank, but I haven't had much luck, so I really hope that Sony Imaging Edge software and its webcam utility (similar to the Canon webcam utility) gets the love it deserves. Having recently bought a Sony a5100 DSLR for streaming and loving it, I want to get the most out of my purchase but I also would hate to have to make another big purchase. In this video we explore how to live stream with DSLR camera using Sony Imaging Edge webcam software without the need of a Elgato CamLink Capture Card.
