Nanogirl is back with a new idea to help her develop the superpower of throwing - let's make a superhero throwing machine! Try this easy STEM activity at home, and together we'll use science to learn how to turn potential energy into kinetic energy by building an elastic band powered super throwing machine!
For this activity, all you will need is
Thick cardboard
3 x Wooden skewers
Plastic bottle top
Blue tac
Scissors
Pencil
Ruler
Tape
Rubber band
Small scrap of paper or foil
This is the FIFTH video in our Nanogirl's Lab Superpower of Throwing series. Watch all five videos and have fun doing each of the easy STEM activities to complete your superpower of throwing training, as you learn to become a STEM-powered superhero together with Nanogirl!
