Today's video we highlight active navigation elements on the admin portal of our website. So when we are currently on a page for users, we would expect the "Users" navigation element to be highlighted to show our current page. We will incorporate LaravelEasyNav package (which I maintain) in order to do this easily.
Laravel Easy Nav package allows us to simply add a rule for our navigation and when that rule is true, then the tag will be given the class of "is-active" (or whatever class we determine in our config file).
We also solve a problem related to active accordions being closed by default when the page first loads. We want active accordions to be expanded by default and we will add a couple lines of JS to make this happen.
