today we are going to tell the bittersweet story of how newgrounds solved a lostwave mystery. one of my favorite pieces of lost media case files. and the song gives a disturbing, haunting, oddly strangly familiar feeling. back in 2019, an over decade long mystery resurfaced thanks to tales from the internet youtuber whang!. this being the most mysterious song on the internet. thanks to this and how interesting lost media is, reddit and discord users began to search for other lost or unidentified songs. this is a trip of 2000s internet nostalgia. paragon by nukemout was on youtube the whole time just like clockman which is the lost media that blameotonjorje made a documentary about. david firth became successful with salad fingers and salad fingers was first posted on newgrounds. watch to join the deep dive iceberg!
