EFT Health & Damage Explained: Tarkov science
Tarkov recently changed how damage impacts the health of body parts; learn all about the update in this informational deep dive! The damage calculation is now more complex and more closely models real-life injuries. The change is dramatic enough that I have started to implement new tactics while in combat. Check out this video if you’d like to better understand how it works and how you can stay alive just a little bit longer!
If you’d like to model out attack damage, I have shared a spreadsheet below which leverages the latest damage algorithm as of 12.12. Feel free to make your own copy and play around with it to get a better feel for how damage is distributed throughout your body. (credit to my girlfriend for her spreadsheet wizardry)
