This massive sand worm will constantly burrow in and out of view - be ready to utilize small windows of attack, and you'll probably want an elemental archer to bring down the worm when it does reveal itself.

The Setekh Wenut lives in a sand pit with an open ceiling - you can easily begin the battle by bringing a plunging attack directly on its head.

When the Setekh Wenut first wakes up from your presence, it will likely perform a massive sweeping attack in front of itself. This only covers a 180-degree arc, so run behind the Wenut to avoid any danger.

If you're distant while the Wenut is upright and unburrowed, it can build up energy at its mouth to spit projectiles at you. Timing a dash should handle this, assuming you aren't close enough to the Wenut that the projectiles miss you anyways.

If the Wenut stays unburrowed and swiftly moves in a straight line, numerous Anemo projectiles will be fired from its sides, with the projectiles following various curved paths. Your best evasion tactic here is either to run alongside the Wenut (you'll have the chance to stay in the gaps between projectile spawn points) or to get behind the Wenut (it's the Wenut spawning the shots, so the projectiles can't reach you if you're too far back). In either case, be careful not to run too far: the projectiles eventually spiral back and form a large ring that you could blunder into if you aren't careful. You'll have to adapt quickly whenever this attack pops up due to its swiftness and the various ranges you might have to deal with it at.

If the Wenut unburrows and whips its head backwards, it's going to gather energy at its mouth and fire a sweeping beam. The Wenut sticks its mouth forward while performing this, making the beam miss the area near the Wenut - run to the Wenut to guarantee safety. If you're too far away, you'll probably need to make a much trickier timed dash under the beam to dodge.

Be careful not to confuse this with the Wenut's other beam, which has the Wenut face forward with its mouth to the ground. This will fire a sustained beam that the Wenut will soon aim at you - being too close puts you at immense risk of being blasted directly by the beam unless you dash away flawlessly. The safest approach here is to stay distant, timing a dash as the Wenut finishes adjusting the aim of its laser.

Be wary of a circular ring of sand appearing in the pit - this is a warning that the Wenut is going to burst straight out of the ground at that spot. You'll need to dash away swiftly if you don't want to get knocked aside, as you won't have a lot of time to run given the size of the worm.

If the Setekh Wenut gets airborne, it will start summoning Windbite Bullet spheres, many of which will be airborne. If enough time passes, it will absorb the Bullets and fire a barrage of projectile rings onto the arena floor - only the center of the rings will be sheltered from harm. To halt this, you can use any elemental attack that can be Swirled (Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, Electro) on the Windbite Bullets to destroy them. Breaking Bullets this way reduces the Wenut's resistance toward the Swirled element, and breaking two Bullets in a single set of Bullets will make the Wenut collapse. It's worth noting that the area of effect of elemental reactions still qualifies as elemental damage that can affect the Windbite Bullets - one well-timed Overload (or potentially Superconduct) can destroy multiple Bullets and send the Wenut reeling.
