Tosca API Scan helps us to test different APIs. It can test the performance and verify the functionality of API.
API Scan can be launched in two ways:
- Tosca Commander (Requires License)
- Standalone application (No License required)
Following options are available in the message section:
Method - Different HTTP methods for request message
Endpoint - API base URL
Resource - Resource identifier
Payload - Required for POST or PUT message
Params - Query/Path/Header parameters
Auth - Different Authentication types for API messages
Attachments - To add attachments
Advanced - To select security protocol
Headers - To add any message headers
