How to Bulk Remove WooCommerce Products From Any Category (The Free Way)
In this video I’m going to walk you through how you can bulk remove products from any WooCommerce category without having to buy a paid for plugin.
You may have found yourself in a situation where you have been easily able to bulk add products to a category using WooCommerce, this is a built in feature to WordPress / WooCommerce. However if you are looking for a way to reverse this or to simply bulk remove a load of products from specific categories you will have noticed that there is no native way of achieving this without doing on each individual product. Not a big issue if you have 5 or 10 products but if you have 100s or 1000’s then this can be a big issue.
So in order to solve this issue, you simply need to add one more plugin to your website.
Install and activate ‘**Bulk remove posts from category’** [https://wordpress.org/plugins/bulk-re...]. Once installed, there are no settings to configure. You simply go to ‘Products’ select the products you wish to edit and follow the same method as if you were bulk adding products.
The main difference this time will that you will see on the bulk edit screen a checkbox to remove from category. Simply select the category you wish to remove the products from then check the ‘remove from category’ checkbox and hit the update button.
That’s it. You’re done. The selected products will now have been removed from chosen category.
