I love easy rice casseroles (like my fave chicken and rice casserole here: • YT Chicken and Rice Casserole Up to 4K ) but these easy stuffed peppers are top of the list. They’re quick to prep and of course everyone loves them! Homemade stuffed peppers are actually really easy to make!

They’re loaded with a delicious meaty rice filling seasoned with spices and garlic. Of course I add cheese because I need cheese in everything.
How to Make Stuffed Peppers
• Brown the beef and sausage and with some garlic and onion.
• Add all of the fillings into the same pan (no need for extra dishes).
• While the filling is cooking, prepare your peppers by simmering 5 minutes to soften.
• Fill peppers with pasta sauce, meat and rice mixture.
• Top with cheese and bake until bubbly!
I usually cut my peppers across the top but you can also cut them top to bottom to make smaller portions (like in my Mexican Stuffed Peppers).

Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe 🥘
INGREDIENTS
• 6 bell peppers
• 1/2 lb lean ground beef
• 1/2 lb Italian sausage
• 1 small onion diced
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 can small diced tomatoes 14 1/2 oz
• 1/2 cup white rice uncooked
• 1 1/4 cup water
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 2 1/2 cups marinara sauce divided
• 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Cut the tops off 6 bell peppers and remove any seeds etc. Boil the peppers for about 5 minutes and then drain them.
3. Brown ½ pound of beef and ½ pound sausage (you can use all beef if you prefer), with 1 diced onion & a couple of garlic cloves. Stir in the 14.5oz canned diced tomatoes undrained, ½ cup raw white rice, 1 1/4 cups water, 1tbs Worcestershire sauce and 1 tsp Italian seasoning (I make mine homemade here https://www.spendwithpennies.com/home....
4. Cook the filling mixture until the rice is cooked, about 15-20 minutes.
5. Place 1 1/2 cups of pasta sauce in a 9x13 dish. Add the peppers and fill with the rice mixture, top with more sauce.
6. Cover and bake about 30 minutes. Uncover and add cheese… bake until melted and bubbly!
You can freeze leftover Stuffed Peppers or bake them to have a make-ahead meal! Just defrost in the fridge overnight and then bake about 45min or so!
