I was accepted as a finalist for The Voice of the Ocean for the Alaskan Princess Cruises.
I felt like I was on #thevoice … but on the ocean 😁
I chose to sing Black Velvet by Alanna Myles for my Finalist performance … cuz that song is a vibe 👌🏻💜
We had a couple rehearsals before this show - and I found out last minute I was the first to perform out of the 5 finalists 😱
I love performing though ❤️ especially when you get to collaborate and work with all these other EXTREMELY talented musicians 🎹🥁🎸 and show crew peeps.
The hardest thing was not being able to move around on stage 😅 Cuz they had a few cameras filming so we couldn’t move from our marks and I usually like to take up that whole damn thing lol
… but it was such a fun experience, and I got ALL three judges to turn around in their massive red chairs!! 🎉
(you can hear the loud noise in the video, it’s like when you hit the start button on Dance Dance Revolution lol… that’s the chairs turning around!)
