How To Rewire Reason into REAPER
In today's video I look at Rewiring Reason into REAPER, with separate tracks in REAPER for each Reason instrument (both MIDI and audio).
Below is a download link to my Reason project template (explained in this video: • Increase Your Productivity in Reason ... ), the Reason Rewire template explained in this video, and the REAPER track template.
NOTES:
- The Reason templates are from Reason 8, so you can still use them if you don't have Reason 10. The template is useful for Rewiring into any DAW, not just REAPER.
- I switched off the FX in REAPER that control the Combinator, as they sometimes change the values of the rotaries when you don't expect them to. Switch them on if you plan to use them.
- In REAPER you have to enable feedback routing in Project Settings - Advanced in order to have both audio and MIDI on the same track.
