POLDERBAAN HEAVY Aircraft Taking Off | Cathay Pacific, Kuwait Airlines, China Airlines & More!
Are you ready for some more heavy take offs from Amsterdam Schiphol airport? Seen here are heavy and big aircraft taking off from the famous and loved runway 36 Left also known as the Polderbaan. With Cathay Pacific returning to Amsterdam with a Boeing 777-300ER instead of an Airbus A350-1000. Notice how the Boeing 747-400F from Atlas Air rotates very late for a 1 hour and 40 minute flight to the military airbase of Zaragoza, it must have been carrying a very heavy load. I am curious what the cargo could have been. At the end of the video the Boeing 777-300ER from KLM turns on the runway at a later intersection than usually big aircraft depart. It is very unusual for big aircraft to take this “shortcut”. In effect it means the aircraft has less runway for take off, but this particular 777 was heading to Lima and not that heavy so it was granted the shortcut by ATC. You can see the Emirates Cargo behind turning for take off. Singapore Airlines, Delta and China Airlines are present with their Airbus A350s, Kuwait Airways flying with their Boeing 777-300ER with cargo only towards Kuwait City, Turkish with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and much more!
