Unlike the generic section dealing with rape, this list only includes films in which sexual violence is the dramatic event that unleash revenge. Whether it is led by the victims themselves ('I Spit on Your Grave') or by someone eager for justice ('The Last House on the Left'), the important thing is that the rapists pay for their crime in the most painful and violent way. There is no need to say that many of these works are thriller and horror movies, but among these we have to mention some really masterpieces such as 1971’s 'Straw Dogs', starring an incredible Dustin Hoffman.
