Necrochasm is now in Destiny 2, as a reward for those who complete the contest mode of the reprised Crota's End (48hrs after release). It melts in it's standard setting but, once the "Desperation" perk activates, this auto turns into something truly special. There are also some secret synergies and tips you need to learn to FULLY take advantage of this weapon and it's explosive perk, but once you do, you'll be slaying. Enjoy!
