Viacom Enterprises "V" (1978) *Telecine Error* | 16mm
This VoD was originally on a “Gunsmoke” film I acquired in 2013, but the film has been disposed of. This was the first attempt at transferring this logo, but as you can see, it didn’t go so well. The transfer I used in my Viacom logo compilation was the fourth transfer; to achieve it, I had to physically push against the filmstrip as it passed through the film gate so it wouldn’t slip out. This logo’s filmstrip is warped and damaged, which explains why this happened. There are multiple folds in the filmstrip, so it wasn’t stable enough to pass through the unit properly.
