tequila is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from the blue agave plant. There are several types of tequila, each with distinct characteristics:
Blanco (Silver or White): Clear and unaged, offering a crisp agave flavor.
Joven (Gold or Oro): A mix of blanco and aged tequila, often with added colorings or flavorings.
Reposado (Rested): Aged in oak barrels for 2-12 months, gaining a mellow flavor and slight color.
Añejo (Aged): Aged for 1-3 years in small barrels, resulting in a rich, complex taste and a darker color.
Extra Añejo (Ultra Aged): Aged for over three years, providing a deep, intense flavor and a dark color.
