Panasonic DFD Autofocus Vs Canon Dual-Pixel AF II
In today's VLOG, we look at Panasonic's DFD ( Depth From DeFocus ) autofocus system and compare it to Canon's Dual-Pixel AF.
We've noticed a BIG improvement in autofocus tracking in the new Panasonic S5 full-frame mirrorless camera in comparison to their S1 lineup.
We discuss the reasons behind this improvement along with why even the Panasonic S5 continues to have some deficiencies in it's AF tracking when capturing video in comparison to capturing images.
