Wordpress Website: Vincent Van Gogh
Last year I attended Van Gogh’s immersive experience exhibit. Based on that, I created a website on Van Gogh for my final project.

Theme applied: Twenty Sixteen
Woocommerce plugin used for flexible layout implementation of products display and purchase on the website.

Pages included:
About: Displays information about Van Gogh and his early life using the media-text widget.
Gallery: Includes pictures of some of Van Gogh’s famous work. I used the NextGen Gallery plugin to create this layout.
Products: This page displays 8 categories of products - Books, Prints, Jewelry, Fashion, Cooking and Dining, Living, Leisure, and Gifts. On clicking on any of the products, the user can read a detailed description of the item, add it to the cart and purchase the products.
Events: Includes dummy events created using the Events Calendar plugin for upcoming exhibits. This page also displays a video of the immersive experience exhibit.
Contact: Displays a mailing address and a map of the location of the events embedded in HTML using Google maps. To modify this section’s appearance, I used CSS and defined the width of the column widgets.
Sidebar widget:
It has been added to every page.
It contains an RSS feed from an art website from https://blog.vangoghgallery.com/ and https://theoria.art-zoo.com.
Displays upcoming events.
Displays the newest products uploaded using a widget.
I used the Ad inserter plugin to include Amazon ads on my website at the end of my content.
To increase my SEO, I used the All in One SEO (AISEO) plugin on WordPress. Because AIOSEO has a built-in smart SEO schema markup capability, I used it because it can help you increase traffic from SEO-rich snippets, Google-featured snippets, breadcrumb site links, and picture SEO search results. In the case of my website, AISEO gave me information on my website’s content, SEO analysis, readability, etc. It also suggested that I must add a keyphrase to my website as it doesn’t currently have one. Lastly, it also showed me a snippet of how it would appear on a search engine while publishing my web pages. Using this feedback, I can review and update my website’s content before publishing it to make sure my site gets a higher ranking if I were to use this project as a business in the real world
