Free Permaculture Class #39 - Shad Qudsi
Join us for this week's class, where Shad Qudsi will be sharing his class, Bitcoin: The Ultimate Empowerment for the Individual to take Custody of their own life energy.
Shad says the consumer patterns and time preferences of society are emergent properties of the underlying monetary system. In inflationary systems, where currencies lose value over time, people are forced into risk-taking, mindless immediate consumption, and shorter time preferences, meaning they value their present self much more than their future self. Bitcoin is the world's first truly deflationary currency and it will bring about a new generation of savers who spend carefully with an eye of the health of their personal, communal, and ecological future, driving them to consume less, save more, and really bring about the regenerative changed we have all been hoping for.

Shad is passionate about bitcoin and permaculture and is a true believer in personal responsibility. He has over 15 years of permaculture experience and has developed Atitlan Organics into a profitable permaculture farm in the western highlands of Guatemala. He has trained literally thousands of people in permaculture and has taught throughout North and Central America. He fell down the Bitcoin rabbit hole about 4 years ago and has since made it his mission to raise awareness of the importance of bitcoin within permaculture and sustainability circles.
