In this video I show you 5 creative ways to use your GoPro Hero 8 TimeWarps!
The Kick:
The creative Kick TimeWarp is one which needs 2 GoPro Hero 8 clips. The first one is a normal video of you, kicking towards your GoPro Hero 8 and the second one is one, where you film a TimeWarp moving backwards,
Very important is that your GoPro Hero 8 is for both clips at the exact same place with the same field of view.
The Throw:
The creative throw TimeWarp is a very hard one to get with your GoPro Hero 8, but if you manage to film this TimeWarp the result will be amazing. First of all, start filming a TimeWarp on your GoPro Hero 8 but switch directly to the stop & go mode. Second, fake a throw and third, while you are doing that you have to switch back to the normal TimeWarp mode to film the rest. In this GoPro Hero 8 tutorial I show you very detailed how you can get this effect as it is a very hard one to film with your GoPro Hero 8.
Underwater:
The third creative TimeWarp idea is the one that you can make a TimeWarp also underwater. Just place your GoPro Hero 8 at a place with a lot of fishes, secure the camera with a stone or foot and start filming the TimeWarp. My preferred setting for this underwater TimeWarp is 4K 5x.
Fake Drone:
If you have a very long selfie stick you can get really creative with it and fake a drone TimeWarp with your GoPro Hero 8. Just film a normal TimeWarp but extend your pole as much as possible so you can film in a height or around 3-4m.
There are however many problems you have to face with your GoPro Hero 8, but I show you the solution for all of those in this GoPro tutorial.
Real Drone:
This last TimeWarp is a bonus one as I need your help. With my DJI Mavic 2 Pro I have the possibility to fly pre planned routes for a HyperLapse, but every time I try to do that it says "route to short". If you know the solution for my problem please let me know in the comments!
