Montrealer by adoption, Serbian-born composer Ana Sokolović is an influential figure in contemporary music. She is the recipient of many prestigious awards, and the Société de musique contemporaine (SMCQ) paid tribute to her in their “Hommage” series. Her compositions have met with international success in performances by celebrated orchestras and artists.
