Quick tip set.a.light 3D: Target Lock for light shapers
Without Target Lock the direction of the light shaper doesn’t change when moving it through the room.
By activating the Target Lock, the light shaper will always stay focused on the chosen object.
This makes it even quicker and easier to try out a variety of different light situations.

The Reflector Boards show the direction of the reflected light. This helps enourmously with the focusing.
If there’s a conflict of two light sources hitting the Board, the Board will distinguish between both light directions by using colour coded lines. This makes it easy to match the reflection with the related light source.
By the way, when working with a tightly built lighting setup it helps to unlock only the needed object and lock all the other objects. This prevents you from selecting the wrong object by accident.
