Chapter Summary.
In Chapter 19 of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum, titled "Attacked by the Fighting Trees," Dorothy and her companions continue their journey to the south in search of Glinda, the Good Witch. As they travel, they encounter a dense forest. The trees in this forest are not ordinary; they are alive and hostile, attacking anyone who tries to pass. The Scarecrow devises a plan to get through by using the Tin Woodman's axe to cut down the aggressive branches. With this strategy, they manage to overcome the trees' attacks and safely pass through the forest, continuing their quest towards Glinda's palace.
