METHOD 1 - ENABLING WINDOWS RE
1. Run Command Prompt as an Administrator
2. To check Windows RE status, paste this command: reagentc /info
3. To enable Windows RE, use this command: reagentc /enable

METHOD 2 - USING WINDOWS RECOVERY MEDIA
To resolve the issue, insert the Windows installation or recovery media to reset your PC if you are unable to do so by clicking the 'Reset this PC' button in Windows settings.

Therefore, if you already have the Windows installation or recovery disk, you can directly insert it to your computer and restart your computer from the recovery drive. Then try to reset your PC and check whether it could complete successfully.

However, if you don’t have the Windows installation or recovery media, you need to create one. To create a bootable media, connect a USB flash drive of at least 8GB of storage, and then use these steps:
1. Open Windows 10 download page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softw...
2. Under the "Create Windows 10 installation media" section, click the "Download tool now" button to save the file on your computer.
3. Double-click the MediaCreationToolxxxx.exe file to relaunch the tool.
4. Click the "Accept" button to agree to the Microsoft terms.
5. Select the "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC" option.
6. Click the "Next" button.
7. [OPTIONAL] Clear the "Use the recommended options for this PC" option.
8. Select the correct language, architecture, and edition of Windows 10.
Quick tip: If you'll be installing Windows 10 on multiple computers running 32-bit and 64-bit architectures, then use the "Architecture" drop-down menu and select the Both option.
9. Click the "Next" button.
10. Select the "USB flash drive" option.
11. Click the "Next" button
12. Select the flash drive from the list. (If you don't see the storage, click the "Refresh drive" list option.)
13. Click the "Next" button.
14. Click the "Finish" button.

Once you complete the steps, the tool will download the required files from the Microsoft servers, and it'll create a bootable USB flash drive.

When the Windows installation disc or recovery drive is successfully made, you can connect it to your computer to boot the PC. To access it, click Repair your computer 🡲 Choose an option 🡲 Troubleshoot 🡲 Reset this PC to continue and check whether the issue "Could not find the recovery environment" is solved.

METHOD 3 - USING THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
As an alternative way, you can use a piece of third-party software to recover your computer to the previous state as long as you have created a system image in advance. There are plenty of programs on the Internet that you can get to resolve your PC's problems.

Hope this helps!
