Is this the hardest teaching has ever been? Yes, for so many reasons.
But there are moments like this, and many of them, and they help to bring it all into perspective.
Over the course of any given teaching day (or hour, for that matter), I run through so many different emotions that I lose track of the days events. Even a “typical” day where “nothing happens” is FULL of situations and issues that educators are dealing with in regards to students. We are beyond exhausted.
But moments like this one help 🥰 I hope my kids get to have moments like this with their teachers and giggle like these kids do at school.
