How To Configure Static Routes On Juniper
In this video I'll show you how to configure a static route on a Juniper router / switch. We will explore two ways of achieving this. The first method will be by using point-to-point IP address configured directly on the interfaces connecting the two sites, and the second method will be by making use of IRB, or VLAN, interfaces.
When configuring IP addresses on an uplink interface, it is best practice to use point-to-point IP addresses on the interfaces itself. But you might run into scenarios where you will need to use IRB or VLAN interfaces to achieve this, and in this video we will show you both methods.
