How to run HTML files in VSCode? Well there are two ways. First, is the same as dropping your html file into address bar of your favorite browser, like Chrome, Firefox or Safari. There is a VSCode extension for that called "open in browser". But if you want to launch your HTML file to run from localhost (127.0.0.1) which is the home address of your computer, you can do it with Live Server extension. This way your HTML file is running on your computer, as if it was running online on an actual web server. This is the best way to run your HTML and JavaScript projects for testing before uploading them to your own domain name.
