Caterham Seven 340R - The perfect spec for twisty roads?
This test Seven 340 was a sensational spec. The optional R pack designed for the race track includes a 5-speed manual gearbox, LSD, MOMO steering wheel, sport suspension pack, Avon ZZS tires and much more. Don't worry that it states 'track focused' tuning. This car works really great even on a demanding road with a poor surface. It is gentle, agile, predictable and on the soft side. It drives really well and with ease. Finding the limit is not difficult but at the same time it is a lot of fun to just drive slowly and enjoy the scenery. We definitely recommend the optional Clubsport protective frame. It gives a sense of security and, in combination with the split glass, the wind does not blow too much into the interior, even at high speed. In our opinion this is a great Caterham for both novice as well as experienced drivers.
