He is a bit hard to master especially how invulnerable he is when you use his forte circuit (thunder smash). But the trick to solve that is to swap him out of the animation the moment you see that flash of lightening after performing a heavy attack. The character that you swap in will be the one you can use to dodge an incoming attack and then quickly swap back to calcharo to continue dealing damage.
