This is the "remastered" version of • When SHARKWAVES Attack! Talking Basic... , which had some mix problems. Here, I'm going back to basics in this video — basic synthesis waveforms, that is! I give a talky talky look at some of the new waveforms and wavetables in KRC Mathwaves Vol. 4 and the very lovely sounding "Shark" wavetables which are a completely new thing. (And there are more than 1000 of them in the new update to Mathwaves.) We explore sawtooth, square/pulse/PWM, triangle, and other basic synthesis waveforms.

Learn more about the latest enhancements to my insane library of more than 120,000 wavetables for Korg modwave, Serum, Vital, Bitwig, Surge XT, and nearly any hardware wavetable synth including Eurorack hardware wavetable modules. Along the way, I drop a few synth programming tips, refer to myself often using the royal we, explain PWM (pulse width modulation), and turn sucky triangle waves into something more useful and awesome.
