This is Susz in northern Poland. It was formerly Rosenberg in Westpreußen, although after 1920 it was no longer in West Prussia but East Prussia as the borders changed following the creation of Poland. The Jewish community in Rosenberg in Westpreußen was quite small and the synagogue was the victim of vandalism on Kristallnacht which prevented its further use. However it survived the war. Today it is a museum which unfortunately is open only for three hours once a month.
