Choose A Home Automation Sensor Like a Professional Engineer
One of the hardest things to do in a smart home is to pick the right sensor and the right device for the job. There are some basics that I'll share with you from my time as an automation and control engineer. I've designed systems, tested systems, been through troubleshooting and replacements, and programmed massive control systems and so I want to share some of that knowledge and experience with you as best I can.

I run through a #smart #home scenario of automating our light in the shower, but really this process can be applied to any sensor or trigger for your home automation. If you define the process conditions (what's present in the room/area), the trigger moment, and then you look at the sensor type, you'll find that your #automations are simple, effective, and meet the needs you have as an automater.
