Iron Blue Intention 16 Bit PC98-86 Cover (Castlevania Bloodlines)
Finally a new cover after God knows how long.
Since le spooky month is about to be over and I still haven't made anything Castlevania related for it - I decided to speedrun the semi official Eric Lecarde's theme. I tried to focus on the "machinery" aspect of the song, even went as far as to add a few metallic kling-klang samples (not sure if that was a good addition but whatever).
Speaking of, with this cover I can finally showcase the sizable library of samples I've been gathering up. I wanted to emulate Yuzo Koshiro's Etrian Odyssey style. As for the FM patches - they're all taken from various Falcom games as per usual.
Btw you probably already know this, but Bloodlines is goated. Easily the 2nd best classicvania just behind Rondo. Super Castlevania IV gassers on life support rn.
