Pixel Stretch Effect: How to Create Easy PIXEL STRETCH EFFECT | Beginner Photoshop Tutorial (2022)
This is a Quick & Beginner tutorial of the Pixel Stretching Effect in Photoshop. You can learn this method and make your pixel stretch effect with any picture in Adobe Photoshop.
In the first step. I duplicated the layer and apply a selection mask on it, so we can place pixel effect behind our main subject.
In the second and most important step, I make a selection of a part with the marquee tool. I selected Fixed Ratio Style (Width 1, Height 999), so I can select accurate pixels. This is not necessary, you can simply select the long part of the desired area, just make sure the width should be smaller.
After making the marquee selection, I duplicated the selected area into a layer with CTRL + J and Press CTRL + T to make it transform and stretch it.
You can also Wrap or distort your pixel stretch effect, You are creative! Play with it! In my design, I simply stretch it and transform it with perspective distortion.
