Welcome to Product Filter for WooCommerce video guide.
This video is about integrating product filters using hooks in your Shop page.
Navigate Shop Integration tab in your Product Filter for WooCommerce settings page.
Under Integration Hooks click Add Item + and name this installation hook.
This will add a filter group to a certain hook. For start, under Common Hooks, let’s select the woocommerce_archive_description
This is a widely supported hook WooCommerce themes use and the best one to put filter group above products in the Shop page or Product Archives.
More familiar options we can set here are the filtering preset and the id and class of the group container.
If we click Save now, and go to the Shop page, our filter group should be shown above the products.
Next, the priority option sets when to show the filter group within this hook. For instance if we set it to 1, it can go on top of the page description too.
Setting a Custom Hook is supported. Under Common Hooks choose Use custom hook, and under Custom Hook option set any action.
With these integration options, filtering presets and responsive settings, you can achieve a lot.
