In late August 2024, Gearbox Software released Risk of Rain 2: Seekers of the Storm, the latest DLC for the popular roguelike. Fans were eager for this expansion, hoping it would deliver new content and fresh challenges to extend the game's replayability. Unfortunately, the DLC has left many players disappointed.
As you might guess from the title of this video, Seekers of the Storm is a major letdown. The new Survivors are weak, the added items are mostly useless, and the content feels rushed. The DLC introduces numerous bugs and fails to bring the excitement that Risk of Rain 2 is known for. Rather than enhancing the game, it feels like a half-hearted effort that does little more than tarnish the franchise's reputation.
