Create Accessible PDF/A-1a, PDF/A-2a, PDF/A-3a, and PDF/UA-1 Documents from DevExpress Reports
With v21.1, we allow users to export #DevExpress #reports to PDF/A-1a, PDF/A-2a, PDF/A-3a, and PDF/UA-1 compatible documents. In this video, we will demonstrate how to generate such documents from our Invoice demo report. We will create two #PDF documents from this report: the first one will conform to PDF/UA standard, the other one will be PDF/A-3a compatible. We will then show to use the PAC3 (PDF Accessibility Checker) tool to verify that a PDF document meets the requirements of the PDF/UA standard. We will also show how to check PDF/A-3a compatibility and vocalize PDF documents in the Adobe Acrobat Pro tool. Finally, we will demonstrate how to use controls' #AccessibleDescription property to specify custom content that screen readers can vocalize.
