How long will your conspiracy last?
Moon hoaxes and flat earth would require huge numbers of people conspiring to hide the truth. Intuitively, we know that the more people are involved, the more likely they are to leak the secret.
In this video we discuss the probability of failure for a conspiracy as described by the paper "On the viability of conspiratorial beliefs" written by David Robert Grimes and published in PLOS one.
