Deltarune Fan Music: Stop, Drop, and Spin! (Feat. Vide0ugurt)
Awhile back, after Chapter 2 dropped, I had thought of this theory pertaining to the bonus bosses (or Shadow Crystal holders as I think they're colloquially known). I had a theory that all of them are based on various soul colors and they they would be have certain speech patterns or behaviors that would further emphasize the soul they represented (ie; Jevil's talk of being free in his cage, is reminiscent of how the red soul has total freedom to move within the boundaries of the box. Spamton's [[BIG SHOT]] nonsense hints at the yellow soul's ability to shoot things). With this in mind, and the fact that chapter 3 (probably) takes place within a TV world, I had devised this game show host character that represented the Green Soul. A smooth talking, and personal space invader that would ramble on about how you need to, "SPIN TO WIN!" I've had various themes for this guy done but uh...only ever got around to making them now. Some two or three years later. Whoops!

And here we are; the one track that is the ENTIRE reason I'm so woefully late on posting this music. The ever important Bonus Boss fight theme for this green soul character. I agonized over this song for a long time, because it either was too big in scope, not energetic enough or just too derivative sounding. I kid you not when I say that this is like the fifteenth attempt I've made making it. But, eventually it's here. And I'm honestly very pleased with it! It may not sound quite like the games, and be rough around the edges, but it feels very...me? Like it feels like I was able to latch onto old wonders from my past, combine it with my current skills, and produce something that's very, "me" sounding. It's hard to explain exactly, haha! Once again, huge shout out to @vide0gurt for supplying the vocal effects you hear through out this track! Also want to shout out @wanderingmakers and their amazing Immortal Hydrangea theme, which served as partial inspiration for my own track.
Well, that's the end of this little fan music journey! Sadly, all this stuff I made is likely gonna be forgotten when Chapter 3 and 4 finally release. But hey, that's okay. It was still fun and exciting to make these tracks!
