Plexi windows for my almost airtight filament dry box design
Why the effort for windows? To see the filament texture and how much is left, since we don't have an integrated scale.
You can make windows out of thick plastics, glass (a bit risky there), or from those thin transparent sheets you 2D print on.
You can tape them or glue them. Airflow not allowed.
And the filament exit has to be protected as well for long term storage.
Even though the print itself is not 100% airtight, it's good enough for a few months of storage. But no airflow doesn't mean dry. Moisture is in the air already, and we'll need to remove it. I'll go design a solution...
