Sesame is an important oilseed crop of sandy loam soils in partially irrigated areas of Punjab. Its single stem, early maturing variety TH 6 has been highlighted in this video clip. This is a good variety accepted throughout Punjab due to its white and bold seeds. If planted sparsusly, its stems become very strong and resist the lodging.
