The ACT has recorded 85 new COVID-19 cases, setting another new record for the highest daily number of cases.
There are three people in hospital with the virus – none of them are in ICU.
The territory recorded just one new COVID-19 case 11 days ago, but has recorded more than 140 in the past 48 hours.
Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases across the territory, ACT Health said they have made the "difficult" decision to stop any visitors from entering Canberra hospitals from 12:01am on December 26.
