It's March 10th, which means- happy Mar10 day! Today we celebrate our favourite Wahoo boy with this crazy banger from Super Mario Odyssey! Jump Up, Superstar (also known as 1-up Girl) has always been a song on my to do list for remixes but I was overwhelmed by the complexity of the arrangement and how easy it is to not live up to that fantastical big band flair. I don't know if I managed to surpass that fear or not, but WE DID IT! Skig's singing gave me the strength I needed.
SPEAKING OF- Big thank you to my ex-college roommate and not-ex good friend Skig for recording some AMAZING vocals for this! She streams Nintendo games on Twitch and does cool shorts on Instagram and Tiktok and you should totally check her out!
