Xur sells exotic armor pieces, one for each class (Titan, Hunter, Warlock) every week. He also sells a random exotic weapon and two exotic weapon bundles with ornament. To buy exotic armor and weapon from Xur you will need Strange Coins. To buy exotic weapon bundles you will need Strange Coins and Silver Dust.
You can also buy several other useful items from Xur for Strange Coins like Heavy Ammo Synthesis, Three of Coins, Glass Needles, Exotic Shard and Mote of Light.
Xur is in excellent form this week. Buying recommendation: 6/6.
Titan: Dunemarchers exotic leg armor - Increased sprint speed, move faster with aimed weapon, tighter sprinting turn radius. Good in crucible. Buy it if you want to run around in the crucible.
Hunter: Khepri’s Sting exotic gauntlets - Gain invisibility after crouching in place for a short time. Melee attacking an enemy from behind while invisible delivers 4x damage. Melee attacks apply a lingering damage effect. This is a very useful exotic in the crucible and in certain situations in PVE too, definitely BUY it.
Warlock: The Ram exotic helmet - Gain increased Armor and all Voidwalker melee attacks trigger Life Steal on hit. In principle this is a good exotic, however there are much more useful exotics for a Warlock, but it can be good in the crucible.
Weapon: Mida Multi-Tool exotic scout rifle. This weapon boosts move speed and fires on a hair trigger. This is a very good scout rifle especially in the crucible. Definitely BUY it.
Weapon Bundle: Monte Carlo and Superspy exotic auto rifle. Dealing damage with this weapon reduces your melee cooldown and grants a chance to fully charge your melee ability with each kill. This is a very useful weapon in the crucible especially if you like to melee enemies, definitely BUY it.
Weapon Bundle: Trespasser and Fallen Assassin exotic sidearm. Reloading after a kill causes the next burst to be a longer, more powerful superburst. This weapon fires bursts of bullets with deadly accuracy. Trespasser is good in crucible and sometimes in PVE too, BUY it.
