Aixun T380: The Ultimate Microsoldering Tool or Waste of Money?
Are you in the market for a soldering iron? Is your budget about $100? Well you’ll want to check this one out. The Aixun T380 soldering iron comes with a T210 or T115 handle and it is battery powered! That’s right, it’s portable!
Although at my shop, we don’t need the portability, it can still be used full time while connected to the charger & use it as a normal soldering iron.
This 80W Solder Iron is claimed to last about 40 min when soldering continuously at 400C.
So in this video, we put it up to a test. I use it to prep a Samsung S22 Ultra CPU Board & Chip to see how well it does at prepping the pads, wicking them flat and removing underfill.
