My 1 Year Journey On YouTube
Thank you guys so much for the crazy support in the past year. When I started this channel just under a year ago, I did it because I was bored and wanted to get back into making videos. I never thought I would hit 100 subscribers, let alone a thousand. So to anyone who has watched, liked, commented, subscribed, or interacted with the channel in any way, thank you so much. It means the world to me.
I just wanted to clear up a few things. One, some people have been drawing comparisons between the last video (Rabbit R1) and Enrico Tartarotti's video. I want to say that I'm a fan of Enrico and his work and when making my own video, I took inspiration for a few of the examples I used. I never wanted to copy his video or damage his brand in any way. I spent time on the editing and I think the style is quite different from his video. Also, the last 1/3 of the video where I explain why I think the Rabbit R1 will fail is my own thought. Lastly, the thumbnails are completely different. So to Enrico or anyone who thought I copied the video, that was not my intention. I have now taken the video down so that no additional views can be garnered from something I didn’t fully create. (This was done after this video was uploaded, I talk more in a community post)
As far as the future of the channel, videos will be a bit different. I want to try some new editing styles and vary up the types of videos I make. I want to move a bit away from startup-based content (don't worry, I'm not stopping it completely) and shift my focus to general tech-based content and video explainers.
