Zuckerberg, it’s simple.
Facebook’s response to Steve Bannon’s beheading threats to Dr Fauci is inadequate and irresponsible. When it comes to death threats on social media there can be no grey areas, no room for confusion, when billions of users are relying on there being a few simple rules to protect them in their online space.
We need your help. We’re a small but mighty insurgent campaign taking on the third wealthiest man in the world and his evil empire too. It’s your classic David vs. Goliath story and we can’t do it without you. We need to raise $100k by Christmas so we can:
1. Hear the cases Facebook’s Oversight Board won’t hear. From letting people call for beheadings without punishment to punishing people who call out beheadings by repressive governments, Facebook has failed over and over again to be on the right side of history;
2. Give voice to survivors so they can tell their harrowing stories of surviving Facebook-based violence and, in some cases, the death of family and friends;
3. Be a safe, secure place for current and past employees to blow the whistle on wrongdoing;
4. Make sure the Biden/Harris White House doesn’t become another lapdog for big tech;
