What is this lesson all about THE BASIC USAGE OF XMATCH?
How does the Xmatch function work?
In this video, we will demonstrate the basic usage of this function to show you how it works. When and where can the lesson be used?
The Xmatch function works just like the Match function, but it is more flexible in terms of selecting a match and its direction of searching.
This runs on four arguments where only the first two are required and the other two are optional.This function searches for the lookup value in the lookup array. It selects a match based on your preference and searches for that match in the direction you want. Then, it will return an integer that indicates the position of the match found in the lookup array.
