Las lluvias registradas el lunes 2 de septiembre provocaron inundaciones en varias zonas del Área Metropolitana de Caracas.
Los municipios Libertador, Baruta, Chacao y Sucre fueron los sectores más afectados, en especial las zonas del centro, sur y del oeste de la capital como El Paraíso, La Yaguara, El Junquito, Santa Ana, Santa Lucía y la avenida de los Flores de Catia, municipio Libertador.
