HACKADEMIC: RTB1 VulnHub Walkthrough in Hindi/Urdu [2022] - Boot2Root
This is a walkthrough of the CTF of the "HACKADEMIC: RTB1" available in vulnhub. This VM is designed with the most realistic real-world hacking. So you have to think our side of the box in order to hack this VM. The goal is to get root and read out the "key.txt" found inside the root's home directory. In this VM there is a hidden WordPress site running, we have to find it and the website is also vulnerable to SQLi injection attack, so we have to find that and perform an SQLi injection attack on our target, and then after that, we have to get reverse shell using WordPress dashboard. And after connecting to the target we have to get to root access by using an exploit for the kernel version of the Linux running in our target.
